21 Jump Street
21 Jump Street ran on Fox from April12,1987, to April27,1991, with 103 episodes. Young-looking undercover cops investigate crimes in high schools, colleges, and other young settings. Jump Street Chapel was modified at Fox's request so as not to mislead viewers into believing it was a religious program. Patrick Hasburgh and Stephen J. Cannell created the series, which 20th Century Fox Television produced. Hasburgh, Cannell, Steve Beers, and Bill Nuss produced. The show was intended to target a younger audience for the fledgling Fox Network. Final season broadcast on Fox stations in first-run syndication. From 1996 to1998, it aired on FX. The series launched Johnny Depp's career as a teen idol. Depp considered this status annoying, but he continued working for $45,000 every episode. After four seasons, he was released. Booker, a spin-off for Dennis Booker, lasted from September 1989 to June 1990. On March16,2012, Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum starred in the film adaption.
