When Pigs Fly
Marty (Alfred Molina) is a down-and-out jazz musician with colorful imagine making it big, but now he's surviving the side and also making small money by providing music lessons to people who don't seem to want them. His in some cases partner, Sheila (Maggie O'Neill), is a barmaid at the Rose of Sharon, a local bar owned by the cranky Frank (Seymour Cassel). One day Sheila takes an old rocking chair out of the pub's storage and also gives it to Marty; he after that finds that the chair is haunted by 2 ghosts, a middle-aged woman called Lilly (Marianne Faithfull) and a bright little girl called Ruthie (Rachel Bella). Ruthie seems to be from the turn of the century, but Lilly is contemporary. These easygoing hearts show up to Marty and enliven his life with non-threatening tricks, but things turn major when Marty discovers Lilly was Frank's wife, that killed her in a fit of rage. With the help of the temporal, the ghosts prepare retribution.
