The Sound of the Spirit
Rivka, a twelve-year-old Jewish girl who professes faith in Jesus, is beautiful and precocious. Her father and she are members of a Messianic Jewish congregation in their neighborhood. Rivka's life, however, is irrevocably changed when her father passes away unexpectedly. She eventually settles in with her religious relatives and joins their synagogue. Rivka learns life lessons that stir her faith to new levels, touching the hearts of individuals whose lives she has reluctantly influenced, from her tumultuous relationship with her uncle to a meeting with the synagogue's senior rabbi to the attention of the synagogue's cutest lad. The never-before-told story of a little girl caught in the crossfire of strong feelings between two spiritual communities is told in "The Sound of the Spirit." It's told in a lighthearted, compassionate, and graceful manner.
