The Climax
When his jealousy pushes him to the brink of manic obsession, Dr. Hohner (Karloff), a theatrical physician at the Vienna Royal Theatre, murders his mistress, a star singer. Hohner's old insanity returns ten years later when another young vocalist (Foster) reminds him of the late diva. Hohner is determined to keep her from singing for anybody other than him, even if it means putting her out of commission for the rest of her life. In the film's conclusion, the singer's fiancée (Bey) rushes to her aid.
