On a remote patch of this Mojave Desert, amidst dusty tumbleweeds along with rangy Joshua Trees, sits an anomaly: a higher school where educators believe compassion, life skills, and also the constancy of a caring adult will be the differences that will give post-graduate pupils control in these fates. At the crack of dawn , principal Vonda Viland calls kiddies on any particular day to find out whether they'll allow it into school. Of course if they need a ride? Well, she'll pick up them. Vonda coaches them , not fostering false hopes and knows each student's battles. Her philosophy combines loving compassion and contributed the climbing graduation speed of her school, it seems to be working.
