Rookie of the Year
12-year-old Henry Rowengartner, whose late father was a minor league baseball playerwho grew up dreaming about playing with baseball. Once Henry's arm is broken while wanting to catch a baseball the limb at that arm heals too closely, allowing Henry to throw. Henry is spotted at nearby Wrigley Field by Larry"Fish" Fisher, the general manager of the fighting Chicago Cubs, after Henry yells an opponent's homerun ball most of the way by the outfield bleachers straight back to the catcher, plus it seems that Henry may possibly be the pitcher which team owner Bob Carson has been praying for.
