Fearful of a prophecy stating that a woman child will be born to result in her downfall, the wicked Queen Bavmorda imprisons all women that are pregnant within Nockmaar's powerful stronghold. A child, Elora Danan, comes into the world in the Nockmaar dungeons and defined as the child by way of a birthmark on her arm. However, ahead of the sorceress arrives to maintain the child, the mother of Elora convinces her reluctant mid wife to flee the baby. Willow, a tribe and aspiring sorcerer, is fraught with bringing the infant from evil.
