The Suburbans, an 80s one-hit wonder band, reformed for a special performance at one of the ex-members' wedding. At the wedding, a young talent scout from a record business happens to be in the crowd and decides to give the now-40-ish artists a push for a return. The film seeks to satirize the 1990s music industry by contrasting it with the simpler 1980s environment.
