The Organizer
The title character in this darkly humorous Italian movie about mistreated manufacturing employees in Turin is Professor Sinigaglia (Marcello Mastroianni). These people, who work in deplorable conditions at a textile factory, have no one to speak out for them until Sinigaglia risks his academic career by assisting them in starting a strike. Despite the fact that the teacher is being investigated by unfriendly authorities, he remains committed to the cause of the workers.
