The Final Countdown
In 1980, the US Navy's most powerful warship, the USS Nimitz, is caught throughout routine maneuvers from the Pacific in a storm. Enveloped by a strange green light, the ship passes through a vortex so when they emerge, their communications have been cut away. A patrol is sent out by the ship's Captain and the F-14 pilots have been somewhat shocked to encounter Japanese warplanes.
