Yoram is a 50-year-old veterinarian who lives in Tel-Aviv. When his teenage daughter Roni says she wants to kill herself, he is forced to look at his relationship with her again. He decides to take her on a trip to see her mother's family, a process of self- and mutual-discovery in an ancient desert land surrounding the Dead Sea.
