The Count of Monte-Cristo
A TV Version of the Alexandre Dumas Book. Edmond Dantes is falsely accused by people jealous of the good fortune, and is sentenced to spend the remainder of his life from the notorious island prison. While imprisoned, he matches with the Abbe Faria, a prisoner whom everyone believes to be angry. The Abbe tells Edmond of a treasure hidden away on a tiny island, that he knows the location of. After many years in prison, the older Abbe expires, and Edmond escapes disguised while the body. Currently free, Edmond must discover the treasure so he can use the riches to exact revenge, the Abbe told him .
