After being chased by the henchmen of a business man from whom he has only stolen some records a raffish safe mill fred, takes refuge within the Paris Metro. While hiding out from conduits and the back rooms of this Metro, Fred encounters a society of criminals and eccentric characters. Fred finds out that the time to flirt with Héléna, blow a safe, rob a railway, stop the hapless Metro authorities, and start a rock band despite being pursued by the henchmen
