Amalia and Georg, coworkers in a small Hungarian perfumery, have always loathed one other. He thinks she's pretentious, she thinks he's rude. After work, each rapturously writes to a lonely hearts pen pal, and the spectator quickly notices that they're in love without recognizing it.
