Zoe is a well-known photojournalist who has put out coffee table books with pictures of famous places. Her publisher wants her to write about Yosemite next, so she heads west, even though she's not sure she can do the park justice. She meets Jack, an interesting tour guide, there. As they travel together, he shows her new things that could happen.
