Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel
Anne Shirley, now a schoolteacher, has begun writing stories and collecting rejection slips. She's the acquaintance of a handsome, rich, bachelor, chases a bunny, and wins (for her chagrin) a baking soda company's writing contest. She behaves like Diana's maid of honor, and refuses the union proposal of Gilbert Blythe. Which directs her to teach Kingsport Ladies' College, a private girls school, where she meets opposition from a number of those teachers, Miss Brooke, and also the Pringle clan (among whom is just a rich, handsome mentor ). However, while Anne likes the conflict, and also the friends she makes, she returns to Avonlea.
