A Cool, Dry Place
In rural Kansas, where he went after his wife abandoned him in Chicago, a single father juggles his employment as an attorney with the care of his five-year-old son and his job as a high school basketball coach. His ex-wife reappears, wanting to reassert herself in the lives of her husband and kid, just as he begins to form a new connection with a veterinarian's assistant. He is unexpectedly provided with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a prominent firm in Dallas, on top of the romantic strife.
