The Real Housewives of Vancouver
The Real Housewives of Vancouver is a reality television show that airs on the Slice cable network in Canada. It is the first Canadian iteration of The Real Housewives franchise, with production beginning in August 2011 for the Shaw Media series. On April4,2012, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the show premiered. With 1.2 million viewers, the two-hour premiere set a new record for the highest-rated premiere in network history. Slice announced on May30, 2012 that the show had been renewed for a second season. Jody Claman, Ronnie Seterdahl Negus, and Mary Zilba returned for season two, along with new cast members Amanda Hansen, Ioulia Reynolds, and Robin Richmond Reichman. On February5,2013, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the second season aired. Slice decided against a reunion for the second season in order to deliver more episodes rather than cutting the season even shorter. On June6,2013, it was stated that Shaw Media, Slice's parent company, had put the show "on hold" while it looked for new programming.
