Sherlock Holmes adventures' first American tv series culminated in syndication in the autumn of 1954. The 3 9 Half Hour mainly original stories were made by Sheldon Reynolds and filmed from Guild Films in France, starring Ronald Howard as Holmes and Howard Marion Crawford as Watson. Archie Duncan emerged in episodes. Richard Larke, billed as Kenneth Richards, performed Sgt. Wilkins in about fifteen episodes. The series' associate producer, Nicole Milinaire, was clearly one of the first women to attain a manufacturing role that is mature in a tv series.
