Michiko and Hatchin

The events of the story take place in a fictitious nation that has cultural influences from a number of countries in South America, most prominently Brazil. Hatchin is a young woman who runs away from her cruel foster home, whereas the main character Michiko is a free-willed "beautiful diva" who escapes from a prison stronghold that was thought to be impossible to exit. The two decide to work together in order to make their unlikely break for freedom.
