Holocaust
Holocaust is an American television miniseries broadcast on the NBC television network in four roles from 1978. The series tells the narrative of the Holocaust from the perspective of the Weiss group of German Jews and of an increasing member of the SS, who becomes a war criminal. Holocaust highlighted numerous critical events which happened around and during World War II, such as Kristallnacht, the creation of Jewish ghettos and after that the use of gas chambers. Although the miniseries won several awards and received critical acclaim, it was criticized by some, for example noted Holocaust survivor and author Elie Wiesel, who described it as"offensive and untrue ."
