Beauty and the Beast

Detective Catherine Chandler is a smart homicide detective. If she had been a teen ager, she observed the murder of her mother as a result of 2 gunmen and herself had been rescued by somebody -- or some thing. Years have passed and while exploring a murder, Catherine discovers a clue that leads her into Vincent Keller, who had been reportedly murdered in 2002. Catherine learns that Vincent is still alive and that it had been he who rescued her many years earlier. For reasons that have forced him to live outside conventional society, Vincent was in hiding for the past 10 years to guard his mystery -- he becomes a terrifying beast if he is enraged.
