Lawrence is just really a rich kid with a bad accent and a huge debt. After his dad will not help out him, Lawrence escapes his angry debtors by jumping on a Peace Corp flight to Southeast Asia, by which he is delegated to create a bridge for the regional villagers together with American-As-Apple-Pie WSU Grad Tom Tuttle and the lovely and down-to earth Beth Wexler.
