At the Teatro Real de Madrid, the Catalan collective La Fura dels Baus will present a new production of Kurt Weill's Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny. This mordant satire on capitalism and the relentless industrialisation of a society where the ultimate guilt is not having money was written in the 1930s by Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht.
