The Night We Never Met
Sam has an issue with his roommates: they're filthy and don't appear to share his values of responsibility, privacy, or basic hygiene. He agrees to share the occupancy of another flat: he gets two nights a week, the owner (a sleazy frat-boy yuppie named Brian, soon to be married) gets one night, and Ellen (a would-be painter seeking relief from her monotonous marriage) gets one night. Things are going swimmingly until Sam and Brian switch nights without notifying Ellen, who then blames the slob Brian for all of the "good" things that happen around the apartment, while berating the responsible Sam for his hedonistic lifestyle.
