The Love of Jeanne Ney

The Reds and the Whites are still fighting in the Crimea, and Jeanne finds out that the man she loves is a Bolshevik (when he kills her father). She has no money left, so she goes back to Paris to work for her uncle. Soon after that, her boyfriend Andreas went to France to help the sailors in Toulon. Khalibiev, a thief, traitor, and libertine, also wants to seduce Jeanne. The lovers are on the edge of tragedy because of his plans, Jeanne and Andreas's naiveté, and a lost diamond.
