Rule Number One

Sergeant Lee, who is just starting out, gets hurt in a gunfight and is sent to the strange-sounding Miscellaneous Affairs Department (MAD). There, he works with Inspector Wong, a jaded and drunk veteran who tells him that MAD's job is to answer calls about supernatural things. Wong talks about MAD's first rule: there are no ghosts.
