Lorenzo's Oil

Lorenzo Odone was a typical 7-year-old. Strange things started happening to him after that: blackouts, memory lapses, and other mental phenomena. He is eventually diagnosed with ALD, an incurable degenerative brain condition. Frustrated with doctors and medicine's failures, the Odones start educating themselves.
