Ley Lines
The tale follows a triad of Japanese young people of Chinese descent who escape their semi-rural upbringing and also relocate to Shinjuku, Tokyo, where they befriend a troubled Shanghai woman of the street and also drop nasty of a neighborhood criminal activity organization. Like most of Miike's works, the film checks out the underbelly of reputable Japanese culture and also the problems of assimilation encountered by non-ethnically Japanese people in Japan.
