Funny About Love

Duffy Bergman, a New York cartoonist, meets Meg Lloyd, a gourmet chef, and they marry — but love isn't enough to make them happy. Meg makes the decision to have a kid, which initially frightens Duffy but quickly becomes his top priority. When they are unable to conceive a child, Meg focuses on her profession, and the two gradually drift apart, eventually splitting. Duffy confesses later, while speaking at a Delta Gamma sorority conference, that the Delta Gamma females have always been his ideal girls— his Love Goddesses. There he meets Daphne Delillo, a young Delta Gamma girl who is unafraid to be herself. Their mutual connection and Daphne's spontaneity inspire an intriguing new relationship for Duffy when she goes to New York to work as a network sports writer. Duffy now has to choose between the relationship he's given up and the one he's always wanted.
