Our body is our physical vessel and houses our innermost instincts. Since David and Venus, we have elevated the human body to the highest pinnacle, establishing and upholding an unreachable beauty standard. It is where we experience pleasure and love, judgment and destruction, blood and smiles. Our natural shape has been sexualized, vilified, and occasionally shamed into taboo via this warped lens of beauty. Why is it offensive to see a naked body? Politics? Are we not more than what we appear to be?
